Converting your Softail to a wide rear tire has never been difficult with the Zodiac wide tire kits. Now, with the extremely competitive priced DeLuxe swingarm kits it is even more easy.
These kits bolt into stock Softail frames on 2000 to 2006 models and allow the installation of a 250 wide rear tire on a 8.50" wide wheel. These very complete kits include all parts needed to offset the primary and leave the engine and transmission in the stock position.
Only the complete primary is mounted offset by means of an included transmission extended main shaft and main drive gear. The only "modification" that is to be made to the stock frame is cutting off the existing fender struts and replacing them with the included chrome billet aluminium ones.
Kits are designed for use with a narrow 20mm final drive belt or chain drive. Because of the very wide choice in wheel designs, the wheel and tire must be ordered separately.
